Precision CNC Wire Forming of a Wire Case Holder for the Fire Safety Industry

As a provider of full-service CNC wire forming services with a focus on consistently maintaining tight tolerances, Precision Wire Products performed the custom work required to produce a wire case holder. A CNC 3-axis wire bender was utilized to enable the production of the wire case holder, on which the tightest tolerances of ± .010″ were maintained on the length. The diameters on the case holder wires, produced in CRS, GM, 304 SS and 316 SS, measured from .120″ to .3125″.

In addition to the CNC wire forming, Precision Wire also executed the necessary secondary processes. These included the press working, welding, plating and bulk or small packaging of the completed unit which was destined for use in the fire safety industry.

As part of an ongoing commitment to superior quality and customer satisfaction, Precision Wire performs in-process tests and inspections. For this particular client, we utilized a no-tolerance jig as a go, n-go quality measure.
